The Board
Αs a Hungarian and French student currently enrolled in a Master of International Politics at KU Leuven, I co-founded the Institute for Central and Eastern European Societies because I am passionate about history, cultures, and languages. I am also a strong advocate of uniting the different people of Europe by embracing their unique cultures, languages, and perspectives.
My name is Matys Kocaj-Grienenberger. I’m currently doing a Masters in Intercultural Communication and Museology in Central Europe at Sorbonne Paris IV University. I’m interested in the cultural and historical dynamics of so-called “Eastern” Europe. Its history, geography and dynamism mean that I’m very attached to the traditions and values that make this region such a cultural hotbed, a source of inspiration and reflection for me.
